Crème tinted pointelle lace intricately blanked the large bed, consuming the room. A warm summer breeze filtered in the over-sized French doors to the bedroom; carrying a faint scent of sand and honeysuckle. Fingers glided over the brass baseboard of the bed, before finding their way to your exposed shoulder. Hot breath resting on your neck as the thumping in your chest grew. His body pressed against your back left little to the imagination; only a thin chiffon dress separating skin to skin. Humming in a low tone, he brushed your hair over your shoulder. The sight of your bare back had him biting his lower lip in anticipation. His fingers traced your spine, a feather light touch. Your body shivered at the contact, eager for more.
“I’ve missed you.” His voice finally emerged from the silence; warm and seductive. Moist lips pressed against the base of your neck. You arched your back and he pulled your hips flush against him; earning a soft moan in response to his efforts. A small smirk of satisfaction played on his lips. Reaching for the zipper of your dress he pulled slowly; giving time for a reaction. Hesitation built up and your hands reached to stop him. “What’s wrong?” His hushed voice resonating in your mind.
“I’m scared.”
